Music In My Ears

Tue Oct 20, 2009, 9:03 AM
I am now the very proud owner of a Thunderbird IV Vintage Sunburst  (I bought it last week, just haven't posted any new journal out of laziness ...)

Pictures will be up here in not too long.

However I can't really promise anything yet because I started my new job this monday, and so I'm taking a lot of shifts and it's wearing me out. But I'm going to be posting pictures and whatnot.

New Artworks Takeoff

Fri Oct 9, 2009, 12:53 AM
Photosession with :iconnakamura-chiaki: this weekend :la:

I'm looking forward to it, but I don't know where we should go. Or when. It would be fun to do it really early in the morning. 8 am or something when the sun rises. We'll see.

There are beautiful colours outside this time of year, so I'm sure we'll be able to get some good pictures no matter what :)

I've started wrapping my head around Xmas presents already, well just barely. But the thought is there, and that what's counts. I don't know when I'll have presents ready at all.. Again, we'll see.

Oh and then there's Halloween coming up. Should I do something for the occasion? Maybe write a nice short story or make a manip.. I don't know..

And last; thank you to everyone who
have featured me lately

Take care

Fan Art Works Gone

Wed Sep 30, 2009, 2:24 AM
Due to copyright violations dA have removed practically all of my previous fan art works, from Lita Ford, 69 Eyes, HIM, Motley Crue and more.

I can't say I blame them, I guess I went a little overboard, but there was never any copyright infringment intented, it was fan art. I seriously doubt the bands would have anything to say on the fact that their fans make fan art with pictures of them, however I understand that the respective owners of the pictures would.

That being said; the pictures I used were found all over the internet, most were promo pictures of the bands/artists or were so old (about 20 years), finding the original photographer would be more or less impossible.

I'm upset about it, because now I feel my gallery is naked, stripped. I also spent a lot of time doing the fan art, and I got a lot of joy from it.

From here on I doubt I'll make any more fan art, so don't even ask. There's no point in doing it anymore. The photomanips will, on the other hand, keep on coming, it just won't involve any bands/artists pictures.

To those of you who have revieced fan art work from me by request which I had in my gallery; I'm sorry about this.

Change N' Challenge

Fri Sep 18, 2009, 7:15 AM
The interview didn't go as well as I thought it would, we were given a quiz and it was mostly Norwegian music and mainstream things on there. Also there were only direct questions we were asked to answer, and I don't understand why because you can't really judge a persons qualities that way.

I was out today looking for other jobs though, hopefully I'll get an answer on one of those applications.

I also checked how much it would cost at the local tatt shop to get this one tattooed on arm; [link] :horns:

From 2000 - 2,200kr. I'll take a look at a few other shops before I make up my mind. Oh and I need money too.

I'm starting to get into "diluted photography", if you can call it that. Next step for me in regard of challenging myself will be to try some new perspectives. New motives and play around with a few different things. Should be interesting

My goal is to be able to create something dark through photography. So far my photographs have been mostly happy and cheerful. It's time for change.
